Hidden Valley Elementary is public school and thereby follows all the policies and procedures laid out by the Yukon Ministry of Education in the Yukon Education Act. Hidden Valley Developed Policies and Procedures
Additional policies and procedures relating to the Kwata kets'adan ku program have been created by Hidden Valley School and are included below. As the program develops, other policies and procedures will be created and added as needed.

Food/Allergy Procedure
Hidden Valley is a nut free school which includes its Kwata kets'adan ku programing. Other foods may be prohibited based on student allergies each year. Families will be notified of these foods if they are of concern to a child's health. A medical form must be completed for each child and submitted to the school. This form should include information on a child's health such as allergies, medical conditions, or other health related information. Families are responsible for sending a healthy lunch and snacks with students each day.
